TV is the next frontier for innovators. In the coming months we’ll see many products trying to bring a wide array of technologies and feature sets to consumers.
It remains to be seen what will win – the two major products to watch are Apple TV obviously with it’s sub $100 price point and the Google TV with it’s Android strategy.
It surely keeps things exciting …

There are so many new start-ups coming up from all over the world, that the market needs somebody to “separate the wheat from the chaffe”, as the barrier to entry for a start-up goes lower, the barrier to success goes higher !

This is a major milestone for the dotcom age. The published books have been around for 200 years and Amazon is one of the pioneers in selling books over the web. They just announced that the first time e-Book sales have surpassed published books.

This also indicates that Apple’s timing of releasing the iPad is perfect at the market inflection point. Apple has already sold 3.3 Million iPads since its April 3rd launch date – thats apprx: 36000 iPads a day !
IMO – this is a significant shift towards a more widespread dotcom economy.
Venture capital in Q2 2010 has been very interesting, we have seen a gradual comeback in VC investment though it has many headwinds. People are generally risk averse and there is a lot more renewed interest in dotcom, renewable energy and biotech.
